Remarks
I first had to apply from the college portal for my MBA programme. The charge of it was INR 1000. in the form i had to submit my CAT score and the admit card, followed by all my education qualifications, ID proofs, transfer and migration certificate and also passport size photographs. During the admission process I also had to sit for a personal interview with the HOD of the MBA department and then finally i was approved after paying the admission fee along with the 1st semester fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course consisted of trimesters. It was 6 trimesters in total. In the first topics such as Management Process and Communication, Accounting for Managers and Organizational Behavior were covered. After 3 trimesters, we had to take up specializations. I took finance and in it topics like taxation, Portfolio Management etc were covered. We had an overall of 7 highly qualified trained professionals with a minimum teaching experience of 10 years followed by 10+ years of industry experience.
Placement Experience
Our placements take place at the end of the semester. The criteria for placement is we should have a well maintained attendance of 75%, a good GPA score with no back papers and a good college record. We have recruiters like HCL, Amazon, TechNet, TATA, ICICI, HDFC and more than 100 companies overall coming to hire young graduates like me. My package was 4 lakhs p.a and I got placed in Axis bank.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for a 2 year program was INR 7,60,000 overall. Each trimester i had to pay around INR 13,000. It was pretty reasonable for me, looking at the teaching, infrastructure and also the placements it provided. I don't know about fees hikes but we do have merit and need based scholarships. It depends on semester performance and also previous marksheets.
Campus Life
Our campus provides all the basic needs. It has well equipped digital classrooms with AC. Labs for different branches like a finance lab, IT computer labs, library for journals and even a separate hostel for boys and girls. We also celebrate business fest where neighboring B school students come to participate in it.
