NISHANT SRIVASTAVA's Review On Lovely Professional University - [LPU], Jalandhar

I have cleared AIEEE and on the basis of its rank, I got admission in Lovely Professional University. As this was deemed University and affiliated to AIEEE, I opt to go here. Also I got a pleasant environment to study and learn new technologies.

The course curriculum was too good as the University is following UGC policy and updates their syllabus as per the changes. The college has a process of workshop handling, so many students get benefit from that. Some subjects(out of ECE) which can be useful for the future,that subjects were also there in the curriculum.

Lovely Professional University has collaborations with companies like IBM,HCL and many more which provides internships with good stipend depending upon the profile.Not only engineering but also management students gets benefit of these internships. Also LPU provides internships to engineering students where some faculty members takes classes for that.

Lovely Professional University has tie-ups with many companies like Cognizant, IBM, Mphasis, HCL, AMDOCS, Unisys, Practo, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Vodafone, Reliance Communications,IND swifts, American Tower,AON, HP, Tavant,Hexaware, Think and learn, Indigo, XL Dynamics,Idea, Hitachi,sandhar, venturepact, M.R.F, V.I.P and many more companies.

I was one of the student of LPU who was also a part of scholarship scheme. I got a scholarship of 20000 per semester. Also there was loan facility available for the students who can not afford fees at one time. LPU provides a relaxation in the fees by paying it in installments.

The examination pattern of Lovely Professional University was too good. The exams were conducted in 2 shift, i.e., one is morning shift and another is noon shift. Also the midterm exams were also conducted for less duration. There were 3 class test on the basis of that students get final score card. The examination process is not hectic for both faculty and students.

I have got this college by AIEEE exam process and opted for Electronics and Communication Engineering. Admission process was like, first get the college by online selection after that register your seat in that college by paying some initial amount and finally you can visit campus to take your admission.

All the faculty were highly educated either M.Tech or PHd holders. A team of good faculty members were there to help International Students. Most of the staffs were having atleast 4-5 years of experience working in the same domain. Some technically sound faculties were involved in corporate sector live projects, which were helpful for the masters students.
