Entrance Preview

The examination required is CET by Maharashtra state board. I had a score of 142 out of 200 and got admission in the last round Besides CET, AIEEE scores are considered as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course structure designed provides foundation for all the software development cycles, programming languages, networking, operating systems, database, big data analytics. Courses also include some of the mechanical and electrical subjects. A course in communication skill helps to strengthen the fluency and confidence to communicate effectively and clearly.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide internship for Information technology. It however provides for Production branch.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are almost more than 75-80%. Most hiring are done on day 1 with TCS. There are dream companies like J P Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley with bulky packages. The placement for non dream companies are modest ad most of them manage to get at least one placement. For production branches, mostly Mahindra is the hiring company.

College Events

2.5

There are many events celebrated. 2 main events are cultural festival Euphoria and techfest. Many different events from dance to plays to coding challenges and others are organised. There are rangoli, mehendi, singing, skits etc. A debate competition is organised annually at international college level which is one of the hit and awaited events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is reasonable compared to other colleges. During 2012, the fee for open category was around 92k for the year. A lot cheaper for ones with reservations . The very first year the fee was 65k. So you can expect it to increase.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are granted for outstanding performance l. One of my friends did get 35% fee waiver. The loan facility is however not available through the college or at least I'm not aware of it. However the fee is reasonable and you can manage to make it.

Campus Life

2

The student body is one of the good ones who organise many social welfare events. The gender ratios are fairly good unless it's not Production branch. We were 9 girls in a batch of 38. Now the count has been increased to 60. People from different states are a part of your class. The cultural society team changes.

Exam Structure

There are 2 main semester exams and 4 mid term exams. The exams are bit chiller out. Especially the semester exams have 2-3dayd on average for preparation on each subject if you do not have KT. Mid terms have less portion but 2 exams on a day and can get a bit hectic .Besides assignments are a requirement and if you keep waiting for the last minute then it'd surely going to be very hectic.

Admission

The admission process was a bit hectic. I couldn't get through in the cap rounds especially if u r from Mumbai n in Open category. However I had filled the college form and got through in those rounds. But the effort was worth it. You get a lot of exposure to different technologies and so the admission process is difficult one.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The creative assignments and learnings of how to think out of the box made me choose this course. The curriculum prepares us well and we learn how to move forward. but the real world is something which we learn only when we enter the field. The teaching methods can improve by introducing more practical engagements and field visits. Frequency of exams are not to much and exams are easy to clear.
