I took West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. I opted to study Computer Science and engineering as i had immense passion for computer from my childhood. So i just pursued my wish.

The curriculum of the college is much above the mark compared to the other colleges under WBUT. Most of the things are covered in the college. The college is very strict about the attendance which makes you attend all the lectures.

Yes it provides internship in core companies for the students who are studying in Core streams like Mechanical, electrical and Applied instrumentation.

Many events are celebrated in the college, The biggest is the annual fest where artists like Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Sukhwinder Singh, Benny Dayal , Fossils, Cactus, Monali Thakur, Suraj Jagan have performed. It is names ARCADIA- the biggest festival in AOT. Apart from that we have freshers - REGATTA.

Fees structure is very cheap compared to other engineering colleges. Initially while we studied that is in the year 2009. I am a 2013 passout. so for tuition fees of 8 semesters we have paid something around 2 Lacs. While for hostel accomodation we paid around 48K only for lodging. While for fooding we need to pay around 1300-1700 based on the standard of mess committe.

Gender ratio is well balanced. The workshops that our college arrange are very good, It even arranged one international conference once where people from all over the world came to join the conference.

Alumni connect is the next target of our college, Officially our college is trying to make it possible from their side . Very soon we will be having one alumni forum.

We have 2 internal exams per semester for the theory papers and then one internal exam for the practical papers. Apart from that the normal Semester pattern follows. 8 semesters. The odd semesters will be having less time while the even semesters had more time. The Exams are conducted very strictly with the help of internal as well as external invigilators.

First i wrote the WBJEE exam. Based on the rank i had my counselling. Then the seats were blocked by Central Selection Committee board. After that we went to the college and completed the required formalities. Once the formalities are completed the money had to be deposited which is comparatively cheaper than the other engineering colleges.

The faculty is very experienced . Most of them are from renowned govt engineering colleges. They have vast experience of teaching for more than 30 years. Apart from that they are always very helpful and helps with all kind of co operation from there end.
