NITMAS is one of the best colleges in Kolkata if you want to learn and enjoy. Both in the same package.

As compared to another college in Kolkata, Nitmas provided the best campus placement opportunity to its students. Top MNC were recruiters of this college like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant. Other big companies like Flipkart, the practice also visited. Although the placement aspect has ceased now. But still, Top MNC still recruits. Its campus is one of the best attraction for students. It has 50acres of a green campus. Infrastructure is well maintained by college authority. Ragging free campus is also the sight of reliving for new students.

Through we are affiliated to MAKEOUT, college only helps us to retain proper education and prior knowledge. Computer science in NITMAS is way better than any other colleges with well-planned courses and lab facility. But from my point of view, MAKEOUT should come up with better options for students cause courses which are offered by the university are pretty outdated, which makes students unskilled as compared to other good universities.

Yes, it provides internship to meritious students who actually deserve to get one. Even if not faculty members helps the student to acquire the skill for an internship

Placements opportunity is very well in my college big companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture visit every year. And many of our students get hired with a decent package. But with time placement are getting down but top companies still recruited from are college.

For 4 year of engineering, it will cost you around 4.5 lakh if you don't opt for a hostel. But if you opt for a hostel the charges will be doubled. But what I personally feel is that charges for hostel are significantly high. I would suggest taking a pg nearby for saving a decent amount of money.

The scholarship program is there in our college, who score good grades in their semester, which a student needs to maintain it for 4 year Loan facility is also provided.

Campus life is amazing in Nitmas if you are a hostile than you goona enjoys your campus life to fullest. The campus consists of 4 basketball court and three big playgrounds. And have a gym, parlour for girls. The cafeteria is a major attraction of students. The swimming pool is the best way to relax in free time. Best college one can get in Kolkata in an aspect of campus life and academics. Gender ration is 60-40 i.e boys: girls

Food is pretty good in hostile and hostel accommodation is also very good. one room is occupied by two students at most, which is the best part and even the rooms are quite big. Though food quality is so-so, not up to the mark still it provides with good quality of food.

Alumni network of nitmas is very strong. They help their juniors to get placed in good companies. They often come for a meet and greet.

In 4 year of engineering, we have 8 semesters and each semester is conducted on the gap of six months. Exam structure is pretty good though it is conducted by MAKEOUT which is the parent university for all the college in Kolkata.MAKEOUT takes the strict procedure to conduct an examination.

I sat for WBJEE Examination where I secured 21036 ranks in West Bengal, and I had selected Ditmas in the 3 slots, where I retained this college in the 1st round. After shortlisting, we were needed to pay admission charges to college. We were had to pay some amount to WBJEE for admission purpose.

CSE faculties are well qualified and help us pretty often. They even motivate us to get hold of new courses which industry actually wants. Apart from that their behaviour toward students is quite friendly and helpful. And the same goes with another department also. Their faculty members are also knowledgeable personnel.
