B.tech program in Biotechnology

The distance of the college. It almost 42 km from Esplanade. But convenient for those who live near Behala. This is the only negetive point I consider mentioning. You can take up hostel as well. But it is an expensive choice. And food is not at all good in hostel.

Course is very appropriate for someone. Who is willing to do higher studies and research. This shouldn't be taken up by someone who's ambition is to join IT industries. Faculties are very helpful. And there are more than 50 international publications so far from this department.

100% placement was there in our batch (2019). Nestle,TCS, Amazon, Infosys are some pioneer companies which visited our campus. Apart from these various startup companies, BPOs, call centers also visited. customer support executives, content writers, front desk manager, security officer were the job roles offered by them.

Blood donation camp, 26th Jan, tech fest,cultural fest, freshers welcome, international mother language day,teachers day, 15 th August, sports fest. In tech fest, sports fest and cult fest other colleges also participate.

In 1st semester including admission it is around 90000 2nd sem - 46500 3rd and 4th sem - 47500 in each sem 5th and 6th sem - 485000 in each sem 7th and 8th sem - 495000 in each sem So all total it will cost you around 4 lacs if you not opt for hostel facility.

College has tie up with bank of boroda and syndicate bank regarding the education loan. Not only that, there are plenty of scholarships for the students. Infact for 100% attendence, for securing highest marks in any particular subject there are scholarships.

Gender ratio was 50-50 eaxtly. We are not at all biased to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status. In fact there are provision for scholarship for poor students.

Hostel rooms are very spacious. Some of them are 2 sharing and rest of them are 3 sharing. There are seperate beds, wardrobe and study table for each of the students. There is no attached bath with the room.

There is seperate forum for college alumnae. They always guided us for future.they are really very helpful. There is seperate group in whatsapp. They update us if any scholarships or internships or job opening is available.

I appeared in WBJEE. And based on the rank which I've scored councelling was done. Then the interview procedure was followed. Meeting with faculty and site visit was college campus was also done by the college itself.

Faculties are well qualified and very helpful. They are very much egar to help students no matter what.not only for study purposes but also they always extend their hands for help. They have got sound knowledge as well
