Remarks

IIT Delhi offers MBA from the Department of Management Studies. It is ranked first among government engineering colleges in India by India Today in 2020, and the Department of Management Studies ranked 8th among management schools in India by NIRF in 2020 In 2021, the DMS Ranks 3rd in India &132nd Globally by QSworld University Rankings. The specialised courses offered are the main reasons for me to join here, especially the Telecom System Management.

Course Curriculum Overview

The basic concepts about management are taught as core courses and telecom system mangement in the second year programme. The main areas of subject studies are Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Telecommunications Systems Management, Telecom Technology, Business and Regulation. The faculties are having good industry connections and highly qualified. They are very good in teaching.

In 2020, INR 33 LPA was the highest CTC offer, whereas the average salary CTCwas INR 22.69 LPA. The prominent recruiters include GE Healthcare, Bain and Co. Barclays, Boston Scientific, BlackRock, Silverdale, Whirlpool, SHAREit etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

INR 880000 is the total fees for the four semesters. Government Scholarships, Merit Scholarships, Merit cum Means based Scholarships, IIT Scholarships etc are provided to students. For economically weaker students, tuition fee waivers and educational bank loan assistance are also given.

Campus Life

The campus life was so amazing. The clubs and committees, mangement fests, events, cultural programmes, sports ,are all awesome . Ad-Marque The Marketing Club, Finatics The Finance Club, Resource Dimension HR Club, Quiz Club, Strategica The Strategy Club etc are some examples. The infrastructure facilities are best in the campus so as to provide good learning experiences to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

It's a decent college, but better than many other colleges

Placement Experience:

Final year students(5th semester) are eligible for the placements, many famous company recruits, like Deloitte, flipkart,amazon and there's many local companies as well. The highest pakage in 2024 was 24LPA. 20-30% students gets the placement as most of the students opt for Higher studies or get into competitive exams. The jobs offered are based on your course.

They have a commitment of completing course in 8-10 months but you can take a time of 12 months as if there is any thing happens like bad weather or aircraft maintenance etc They taught us all necessary things required for flying like reading approach charts, how to make circuit landing and general flying etc.
