Remarks

IIT G is one of the best institutes in India in Research. However, the administrative processes may take longer time than expected. not Here admission process is smooth. The relevant website: www.iitg.ac.in

I desire to choose teaching or research as the profession in future. That is why I need to pursue post-doc after my PhDThe faculty members here have mostly post-doc experience. Teaching method is overall good.

Placement Experience

Placement is not good for the course. No on-campus placement is offered. You need to search for yourself. Jobs are only possible off-campus. Students are eligible for the job from the very beginning of the course.I wish to start private tuition after the course is finished.

Fee Structure And Facilities

No fee is required. Fellowship is available for two years. Rs. 55,000 to 60,000 per month. No financial assistance is required because of the availability of the fellowship. At the end of the tenure, job is not guaranteed.

Campus Life

Alcheringa is the annual fest held in the campus. Plenty of books and journals for research are available in the library. Campus life is so good with such a lovely scenic beauty around. All types of sports and extracurricular activities like drama, literature etc. are done.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is nice. Menu is nice with a variety of food items. Both veg and non-veg foods are available. A heavy breakfast awaits every morning. Registration is dine at the time of registration to the course.

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The practical learning of the subject. It provides quite deeo learning into each subject. As the course provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge it becomes quite easy to apply the knowledge to further academic of occupational pursuits. Also it provides 3 months internship after the completion of the course. The improvement areas are the teaching methods of some subjects like pharmacognosy, social pharmacy, etc. Exams are conducted in a time interval of every 2-3 months. The duration of the session exams are 1and half hours while that of final exam is 3 hours for each subject.

I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
