IIIT Kalyani [On The Road to Glory]

Infrastructure: We have all the technologies that a college should have in terms of academics. Classrooms are well-equipped with projector and sound system. We have sufficient books in the library to meet all our needs. For sports, we have everything needed for our skill development.Faculty: As it is mentored by IIT Kharagpur, the course curriculum meets the industrial demands and is very relevant. The teachers here are very helpful and the qualifications mentioned on the site are all true.Placements: Placements in our college are going above. This year, not many students were placed, but some got placed in Jio with a package of 17 LPA, and the drives are still going on. I have full belief that the stats will rise in the upcoming years. This year, due to pandemic, the placements were affected.Other: We have multiple events hosted in the entire year. The campus is not much crowded, and you have all the opportunity to pursue whatever you want to do, be it dance, music, sports, coding or anything.PS: This year only , we got our permanent director, so the stats will absolutely be at its peak now.

CSE branch of IIIT Kalyani is really nice. Some facilities available for CSE branch include well qualified and full-time faculty members who are from prestigious institutions like IIT, ISM, Jadavpur University. Previously professors are from BITS Pilani, IIT Kharagpur, etc.

For me I had not done any. I am going to do next month for web development. Now coming to our seniors, they have done internships in Hike, Sharechat, Gojek, Maq Softwares, TCS, etc. College also helps to do internships related to research with IIT's and NIT's.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. This year, not many students were placed, but some got placed in Jio with a package of 17 LPA, and the drives are still going on. I have full belief that the stats will rise in the upcoming years. This year, due to covid, the placements were affected, but now we are having our permanent director, so the stats will absolutely be at its peak now.

Fee: Fee is reasonable as it comes under PPP mode. Fee is comparable to other IIIT's.Scholarship: We have scholarship portal available on website. I remember we had proper one to one meet to Bank Manger to SBI for any loan related issues. Also our administrative body is very supportive regarding this.

Since our college is new, our permanent campus construction is going on. The Government of West Bengal has lent support to the institute by granting 50 acres of land for setting up the Campus. While construction has been started in the land provided, the institute is presently running from the temporary campus at Webel IT Park, Kalyani.WEBEL IT PARK KALYANIWest Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Limited (WBEIDC Ltd.), under the aegis of Department of Information Technology and Electronics, Government of West Bengal, the nodal body is driving Information Technology (IT) related investments across the state through its IT Parks, Hardware Parks and Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs). Our institute, Indian Institute Of Information Technology Kalyani, is presently running in one of these IT parks.

HOSTEL: The institute provides accommodation for outstation students on payment basis in rented apartments. Separate accommodation is provided for boys and girls students. The institute has hired four hostels, three for boys and one for girls. The hostels are well situated accessible to all conveniences (playgrounds, market, railway station, bus stops). All the hostels are equipped with WiFi and 24 Hrs security.MESS: Healthy food Healthy Life. The institution provides the facilities of Mess services in the hostel. Presently the mess services are functioning at the hostels. There is Mess committee which monitors the functioning of the mess.
