Course Curriculum Overview

Course is upto the standards of top B-Schools in the country. Curriculum follows semester system. Academic subjects are similar to that of the top B-Schools. Faculty members are well experienced and qualified

Placement Experience

Good and consistent placements opportunities at VGSoM. The placement cell is independent of the central IIT placement system and works tirelessly towards getting students SIPs and placements. Big names visit the campus and recruit students across diverse domains.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is quite less as compared to other B-Schools. Loan can be easily availed from banks which have branches inside the campus. The summer internship stipend can provide some aid for pocket expenses.

Campus Life

Being part of the IIT Kharagpur ecosystem, ample opportunities and resources are available. The classrooms are well equipped with modern facilities. Multiple clubs exist both at the school level and the IIT level, which students can join and explore their passion. Hostel and mess facilities are decent.

Honestly college is not very good but yes average

Placement Experience:

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

All you need to know about VGSoM

The eligibility of course is a Bachelor of engineer or bachelor of technology, even students who've bachelor of science along with masters in any field are eligible.
