Remarks

Placement report, low fees, good brand. One thing that stands out for this college is the amount of exposure you get from different industries specialist, alum connect session is also very good. Being in Bombay it gives a very good vibe as well. Campus is also amazing

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very good. The faculties are very professional. Academics is quite rigorous. But peer to peer interaction would help a lot. Try to keep up with academics as IIT Bombay is very particular about it.

Internships Opportunities

Yes I have opted for internship. It is a major FMCG company. Although I can't reveal the name. But the role is quite amazing. I am interning with all the premiere B Schools. The experience is totally amazing

Placement is quite good. Average package is 22 lpa. And everyone gets job. Smaller batch size helps in reducing competition. You will not find it difficult to get placed here. However the process is rigourous

Sadly because of COVID 19 PANDEMIC we were not welcomed to compus and even when some students went there it was highly restricted. From seniors we know that campus life is amazing and you will enjoy a lot.

Hostel Facilities

No I have not went to hostel, but it was mainly due to Covid - 19 but all I have heard is that it is not upto your expectations. Rooms are small and hostel facilities are not that great. But overall it will me made up through amazing campus

The highest CTC is 26.3 LPA, average is 15.24 LPA, while the lowest is around 9 LPA. Most preferred companies are the MNCs and the asset management companies and banks, which offer CTC around the mean. The placement process is completely driven by the placement committee and the process is very transperent. there were more than 76 recruiters that hired from SIMSREE last year

My admission to this college has been a blessing because I have witnessed the most polite and supporting teachers who are not biased on any basis and are always ready to help. The ambience of the college is also nice. Special reference to the office staff, the office staff is super polite, helpful and supporting and they are very joyful and always cheer you up.

Review for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY

I appeared for CAT in 2020, post which I received interview calls from MDI, IIM's, VGSOM, SJMSOM, DMS etc. The admission criteria of the open category for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY was more than 60% in 10th and 12th which had a weightage of 5%. There was 5% weightage to the graduation scores and 10% to gender diversity too. Post filling the form I got an interview call and was also allotted a buddy to help clear any doubts regarding the interview process. The interview was held on a platform & each candidate was allowed to log in and interact with the platform a day prior to the interview. On the day of the interview, there were two main procedures document verification and the actual PI. We were assigned to a buddy in batches of 20 who would personally take us to our respective procedure. The interview panel had faculty from college, alumni and industry experts who asked questions based on the form filled. The conduct was very smooth and hassle free....Read More
