Remarks

Basically, I am from M.P and the most of the college in MP is not good so i decided to go to other state college. I had taken direct addmission in raisoni college.that time the college fee was around 1.08 lakh per annum During admission they were asking about my number in PCM and it was good so they happily gave me admission and in addmission process they need some documents like 10th 12th marksheet and migration certificate thats all, in 1st year they provide all books, practical and work book included in fee. In my class there was only one student who has taken college though councelling and all other taken direct admission. I think for mechanical stream raisoni college is not good it is good for Computer science

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this stream becoz my father is working in a state thermal power plant so I also want to work like him. The faculty was okay okay not very good .not too bad, all were Mtech and 2 3 were old-faculty who had done Ph.D. And their teaching experience was around 3 4 years only. In my class, there are 60 boys and 3 girls Exams were taken timely in April College Exam is not tough it was moderate But all facilities were good in behavior and helpful, during the study they strictly focusing of teaching the students

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There is a 7 th sem course in which you have to do an internship, no. Exam only internship which will give you 7th sem percentage according to how you worked in an internship You can also do an internship in your favorite company or else college will provide you. I got the OM SAI INNOVATIVE AUTOMATION LTD. there I have to work on computers and also inside work but mainly on computers or you can say office work. This company is small sizes company with a turnover of around 20 30 lakh Our MD is conceited and arrogant so he didn't give any stipend Many of our classmates go to good companies like kirloskar, Simens Mahindra but only 2 3 companies were giving stipends bcoz they are in metro cities We had made one rice plantation machine which is good College doesn't provide any money for making projects you have to use your own money.

Placement Experience

2

For mechanical only fee companies had come which was offering 12000 to 14000 in starting, Frankly speaking ,College is not good for mechanical steam if you wants to get place by campus , no such big companies come for placement , only 2 companies came while we are giving exam of last year and after 1 months 4 5 companies came for placement in which they takes only 4 students , this college is good for computer science stream . Though campus only 5 students out of 64 were placed ???? Though i wants a govt job so i decided to give govt exam 1 year is wasted due to corona but i cleared one police exam but i didn't go for physical and i am giving MP state exam and railway plus SSC It will take time but i am sure that i can clear railway exam and state exam

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for my 1st year was 1.04 lakh and in 2nd 1.08lakh then 3rd and 4th year was 1.14 lakh which is very high. Direct addmission takes a lot of money from students. I don't know about scholarships and financial assistance from the college. College hike fees every year but depends on their spending. Total spending on College material like copy stationery, xerox, exam fee, etc other charges was around 20000 annually My total money spend on this course will be around 5.5 lakh

Campus Life

4

Campus environment is very good NO ragging at all, everyone was busy in his/her work, as a mechanical engineer we didn't have much time for roaming here and there but our classmates is good and helpful Library of college is very good, there were all Apple computer around 60-70% computers were apple computer All facilities were there like drinking canteen garden xerox machine within the library, and also one in downside of college, they conducted various extracurricular activities by participating in various thing in every month and one website is there created by students to download previous year college paper. One main disadvantage is no playground within the college there is one academy College which is 6 km away we had to go there for any very bad sports. And one anual fest happened every called Antar Agni like this during Navratri, there some tv stars and famous personalities called by our college and also play dandiya not in college somewhere outside.

Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
