I appeared for MHT CET in year 2013. I scored 87 out off 200. As this college has government autonomy,I opted for this college.

Speaking about my department Production, I would like to say it is best among Maharashtra in Production engineering. All the other syllabus are according to theoretical knowledge and research based. Though practicals are not well conducted and more focus is on theoretical knowledge. Students are burdened with assignments and sheets which are mostly unnecessary considering knowledge part.

Internships are provided by the CENTRE OF b excellence and Through TEQUIP-2 in college and general stipend being about 10 k. Many Companies are brought to the college by Faculty as Faculty members have great alumni contact.

Placement is not that much of taking point in SGGSIE & T, Nanded. Though almost 300 students are placed every year the majority is placed in TCS . CSE and IT have good placement ratio while other departments have a less placement performance. Instrumentation department has 100% Placement. Companies such as TCS, IBM, BHARAT FORGE are main recruiters.

Many cultural events are carried out. Pragyaa being the national level technical event. Utsav is cultural event.zenith is the sports event where participants are from all around maharashtra. Many clubs such as sankalp, RNXG, Mtrix are there for the betterment of students.

Sadbhavana scholarship is provided to poor people which is funded by the alumni of college. This scholarship is based upon merit of the students. Interviews are conducted for it.

Gender ratio in college is about 10:7. Students have Various parties such as chocolate party,freshers party, payjama party on different occasions. Various technical workshops are conducted every week by different departments. Cultural events are also conducted. Students work together for these events. Ravandahan,Ganpati utsav are celebrated enthusiastically.

Alumni meets are conducted every year. Alumni network of college is very strong which helps in getting companies for placement in college.

Exams are based on semester pattern. We have a mid term examination of 30 marks and end term examination of 70 marks. Continous evaluation of students is carried out throughout semester on Assignments and attendance basis. Backlog examination are carried out in summer term examination of 100 marks. Exams are scheduled with appropriate time to prepare for next Exam.

Many Faculty are PhD holders and they are pretty good at teaching and external guidance. But newly recruited faculty members are not up to the mark in their teaching as well as their behaviour with students. Students are not well supported for external activities though, apart from Study related activities.
