Course Curriculum Overview

I think that Practical Based study should be focused more than that of the theory based. Regularly, class tests are also conducted by teachers and proper assessment of the students is done. It always helps the students in their UTs and End SEMS

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 225000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placement so far in the past 4-5 years have been good enough even though there's been a downfall in the Engineering industry. Students are getting placed with a good average package. Last year's placement rate was 86%

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for BTech in CSE/CE/CSBS/IT is 2,25,000 rs while it's 1,98,000 rs for ENTC / ECE Branch and it is even lesser for the lower branches in the college. Scholarships are give for the SC/ST castes and special scholarship is provided for Women

Campus Life

The campus of BVDUCOEP is very green and clean. The College's Official clubs organizes Technical Events which are really helpful for all the students and the Fests that takes place over there are truly thrilling and amazing. The facilities in the campus are well upgraded.We get to see a lot of books in the library and is easily accessible to everyone having a Library card

Admission

First of all I scored a little less in the MHT-CET exam to get a Top class college. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering was the only left choice and it was far better than the other colleges that I was getting at my percentile. As well as it has a very good campus and is well reputed.

Faculty

The Faculties in this college are polite & friendly enough to connect with. The teaching experience was overall good. Exams are as follows:- Unit test 1 (20 marks each subject) Unit test 2 (20 marks each subject ) End Sem (60 marks each subject ) Project based learning (20 marks each subject) Term work (20 marks each subject)

Night Life

The in-time for the Boys Hostel is 10 pm and the Girls hostel timings vary as there are 4-5 girls hostels. Intimes for Girls is 8.30 pm / 9.30 pm / 10 pm , etc. There is a very famous " KHAU GALLI " of atleast 200m long at the Backgate of the College. Both side of the Road are highly engaged with peoples enjoying their Food. College has a well updated Gym also

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
