Remarks

I applied for admission to colleges in the year 2019 in colleges in college's like HL College of commerce, Lokmanya college, Ahmedabad university college, CV Shah commerce college Ahmadabad, Rai university college Ahmadabad and Nirma university College Ahmadabad due to high fees and law marks I did not get admission in any of these colleges. That's when I got Admission to a college called St: Xavier's college Ahmadabad. At first sight, I like that college. It felt like a very beautiful college. I started studying B.com there.

I love this college. There are all kinds of facilities here. Very good classes are available. The teachers all teach the students very well. There are facilities like hostel facilities, parking facilities labs and playground facilities. Lots of trees and a good climate prevail here. This is a place to get positive energy.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As it is a management college there is a lot of Fee. The tuition fee is Rs:50000 per year so after 4, years it comes to Rs:200000 as a tuition fee. The exam fee is Rs:1000 per semester. The college also charges a management fee of Rs:500, Lab fee of Rs:1000, Car parking fee of Rs:500, an Extracurricular activities fee of Rs:300 and a sports fee of Rs.200.

Campus Life

College festivals are celebrated here every year. It presents a lot of fun moments. Christmas is usually celebrated on the 29th of December. Similarly, the college anniversary is celebrated at the end of the academic year. The youth festival is celebrated in the month of August. June 19 is celebrated as world reading day. Independence day is celebrated on August 15 and Republic day on January 26. February 12 is celebrated as Sports day.

Interview Experience

Yes, I got admission through an interview. Not everyone need's an interview. I am getting a low percentage of Mark's so I needed an interview. As part of the interview, a teacher asked me a few questions and I answered them correctly and passed the interview. Very simple questions are asked me during that interview.

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

The Vibrant Life at St. Xavier's Mumbai

I applied to IIM Indore, St. Xavier's mumbai, TAPMI Manipal and I had given CET exam to apply for colleges in Mumbai. I did not clear the IPMAT exam as I prepared only for 2 months, so I didn't make it to iim indore. St. Xavier's being one of the top colleges in India was my next choice. I also got into TAPMI Manipal but I chose Xavier's over it as the ROI was better. For admission in Xavier's you've to clear the Xavier's Entrance Test (XET) for BMS, BMM and BSC-IT. Post which you'll get a call if your name is in the merit list. Rest of the process is done in the college itself, where you'll be asked to submit your documents and fill out some forms. Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
