VIPUL KUMAR's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Kurukshetra

I took "jee mains" exams formerly known as AIEEE. I scored 210. Hence i got the desired college and desired branch. When i saw the college infrastructure it was awesome. Also kurukshetra is a beautiful and clean place. Ealier kurukshetra reminded of the mahabharat battle,but afer coming here and living for four year,it will remind me of much more.

There are a lot of research going on in the college many students under the guidance of professors are publishing papers and journals. Specifically students of ECE in our year are very keen to do projects and research. The college funds the students to carry on the research.

Our college being a centrally funded organisation.gives stipend to M.tech students. But for B.tech students there is no paid internship curriculum. Although trainings in various field is provided.

The placement season has started with the start of this semester ie. july to december 2016. Many companies have participated in the campus placement drive. Companies like adobe, flipkart, amazon ,cordination ,direct ,oracle samsung etc. Visit our campus every year for both placements and internship.

Yes, first -the college provides scholarship to the topper of first year B.tech. Second - also the toppers of specific branch are awarded scholarship in final year. The loan facilities are thee to avail with cooperation from bank.

The gender ratio is quite good actually. Its like 55 : 45 out of hundred. The clubs and societies that are formed are always ready to party. There are anumerous cultural fests and technical events being hosted in our college around the year. So much so that people from DASA categories ie. NRI wards also participate and feel like home.

During the convocation we meet up with the alumni of our college. They are very helpful. Those who are working in any organisation that on of us got placed into, then they share every minute details about the life and opportunities.

The exam structure is like this.every semester we have two midterm examination of 10 marks each.we get 20 marks as attendance benefit. And 20 marks as teachers assessment. The final examination at end of each semester is of 50 marks .That complete the 100 marks in each subject.

The teachers are well educated and dedicated to education. The faculty is well trained to handle any situation what may arise. Their practical knowledge is vast and always support to apply what we study in practical situation. The teachers are always punctual which motivates the students to be punctual.
