A really good college giving a lot of opportunities for students.

I applied to MITE college udupi but after I realized that it was not a good college as there were not many placement activities. I opted for OBC category and due to my KCET marks I got selected in NMAMIT college. Admission criteria were KCET scores, 12th marks and also SSLC scores. There were no admission process during councelling.

I always had an interest in electrical and electronics related fields so I opted for this course. Our college is a very well known college so faculties are really good. They go through the concepts really good and also support students. The faculties has to have minimum teaching experience of 2-3 years and has to have a PHD degree and other degrees. There were 3 main exams per semester as in two Mid Semester Examinations for 20 marks which is internal and a final examination of the semester for 50 marks which is external and also we had task for 10 marks. Mid semester exams are usually easy but final sem exams are tough.

Internships are a must in our college to get the degree. A minimum of 30 days internship is needed. Common companies offering internship in our college are CoreEL, Inmovidu, IoT etc. The companies provide tasks related to Artificial Intelligence, Matlab, Image processing, Electronics etc.

From the final years, the students are eligible for placement activities. Sometimes even the third years get placement chances when almost all final year students get placed. Accenture, Cognizant, Vipro, Robo Bosch etc. are some companies that usually come to colleges every year and take almost 30+ average students. The highest package is around 30L from amazon and the average package is around 3-4 Lacks. Around 60% of students get placed every year with the CS, IS as the most placed branches. My plan is to get a job so I am trying my best to get a job and have a successful life.

Fees is reasonable I would say because it's not too high and is affordable. Lot of scholarship opportunities are available like Epass, MHRD etc. which are guaranteed to almost every students. I'm currently studying in final year and do not have a job as of now.

Fests are arranged by students themselves with some funds from college and it is named as INCREDIA which usually happens once in a year and is done very grandly. There are lot of tech fests like hackathon, quiz, gaming contests etc. Library has wide variety of books available and students can borrow it anytime they want. Projector, fans, lights, AC, bench, desk etc. are available in the classroom as amenities. There are lot of sports and extra curricular activities available in the campus like badminton, basketball, carrom, chess etc. as indoor games and football, cricket, hockey etc. as outdoor sports. INCREDIA is an group run by our college as fest group.
