Remarks
The admissions in the college are based upon CLAT scores. I secured around 2k rank in CLAT. The eligibility criteria for admission is based exclusively on the merit in CLAT. The admission process was though very convenient but due to the presence of a large number of students on the day of counselling, it took a lot of time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am presently pursuing the course of BA LLB under the university, However, there are two courses provided by the University - 1. 5 year Ba LLB Integrated course 2. One year p.g. diploma in corporate law The faculty in the university is good and the maximum of them are PhD holders. Term exam does not happen very timely, mostly the students get informed about the exams, 7-8 days prior.
Internships Opportunities
The internship and placement cell has been established this very year(2021) so there is no record of such till now. But students will be provided internship by the cell from this semester as per their choice. Students can also choose to take internships on their own.
Placement Experience
Till now no placements have been provided to students because the senior most batch itself is in the 3rd year. There is an internship and placement cell. For now, students are provided with internships by this cell.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure(annual): tuition fee - 80k, Amenities fee - 15K, campus development fund - 15k, moot court fee - 3k, examination fee - 3k, library fee - 2k, health and sports facility - 5k, Hostel rent - 40k, The total fee along with the mess advance fee and refundable security amounts to around 188,000rs per year. Scholarship/financial assistance have not been provided till now, though the university talks have said that it will soon start it.
Campus Life
As we were on campus for only around 6-7 months before the lockdown, so there is no concept of an annual/tech fest till now. The library was also not accessed due to the same, though when the students were at the campus, there were many books to read. We celebrated sports day, yoga day, etc. when we were at the campus often. Think India study group was one of the social groups.
Hostel Facilities
While the students were at the campus there was no good facility provided to them. We used to live in a rented hostel of SBIT, where there were no coolers(and no ac), just one fan per room and there were around 3 students living in one room. The meal was neither too good nor too bad. It is compulsory for every student to stay in the hostel, even if they are local residents.
