The university has recently enhanced its faculty, now including several assistant and associate professors who have cleared the UGC-NET exam, while maintaining a high faculty-to-student ratio of 60:1. Each batch consists of 120 students divided into two sections. The teaching staff is qualified, featuring PhD holders and a notable professor, Justice Ravindra Bhatt, an ex-Supreme Court judge. However, some non-permanent faculty for BA subjects are lacking in teaching skills and student interaction.
The law faculty is praised for effective teaching, with regular classes and supportive faculty who promote engagement. The 10-semester curriculum includes mid and end-semester exams, with a marking scheme out of 10 GPA. The faculty-student relationship is positive, with approachable faculty. The university is relatively new, with its first batch graduating recently. The Internship and Placement Cell actively supports internship opportunities, with placements eligible from the 4th year. Despite limited placement activity, a few students received pre-placement offers from reputed firms like Khaitan and Co., with packages up to 18-19 LPA.
However, only 8 to 10 students have been placed from the first cohort. Internships are encouraged, with opportunities in various courts and law firms, including tier 2 and 3 firms. The placement cell organizes internships twice a year, without companies visiting for recruitment yet. The annual university fees range from Rs. 1.75 lakh to Rs. 2.3 lakh, depending on accommodations. Key fees include tuition (Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 85,000), hostel (Rs.
30,000 to Rs. 40,000), and other amenities. Although the university accepts third-party scholarships and offers a program for economically weaker students, it has not implemented its own scholarships or campus jobs, making the fees challenging for some students without external financial aid.
