DBRANLU Sonepat Faculty

The university has seen an increase in faculty members recently, with the addition of assistant and associate professors, all of whom have cleared the UGC-NET examination. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:60, with each batch containing 120 students divided into two sections. While there are permanent faculty members for law subjects, BA subjects are often taught by non-permanent, contractual staff. The permanent law faculty is well-qualified, with most holding PhDs, and includes distinguished professionals such as ex-Supreme Court Justice Ravindra Bhatt.

The teaching methods are generally appreciated, with faculty being approachable and supportive. However, there are concerns about some non-permanent faculty members lacking teaching skills and not being available outside of class hours. The course structure is divided into 10 semesters with a focus on BA subjects in the first two years and law in the remaining three years. The marking scheme is a GPA out of 10, with exams being conducted mid and end-semester.
