Remarks

I applied for IIM Rohtak for IPM got selected too but the course there was way too expensive as compared to its merit. For my admission in Christ, I didn't avail any quotas. For admission in Christ (Eco Hons), you have to give an exam and then a personal interview. If selected you'll get an email. you can apply for more than one course at a time and choose one after selection.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted for BA Eco Hons. The classes here are not very crowded, just 2 sections with like 45 so students each. The faculty members are also highly qualified. The only so-called 'issue' is that sometimes Christ can be a little strict when it comes to their examinations.

Placement Experience

4.5

I'm still a 2nd-year student so as of now I didn't experience much about the placement part of the college. For my course, students generally prefer to opt for further studies. I also want to get admission to the economics postgraduate program.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very low as compared to what they offer in terms of exceptional educational facilities. For my course is 96000 for a year. The hostel is also very inexpensive. I can't say anything about scholarships, but you can easily get financial assistance from a bank.

Campus Life

4

As of now due to the COVID campus have way too many restrictions so we cant use our campus to its full potential. Everything is done on the online medium. I'm a second-year student hence I also got admission amidst this pandemic. Still, I got a chance to visit the campus for few days. The campus is clean and very thoughtfully organized. The campus also offers a wide variety of sports infrastructure.

Interview Experience

4

Yes, there was both the written test and an interview as a part of admission. They ask some basic questions related to your opted course as well as some basic general knowledge. I opted for an economics course hence they asked me questions for macro and microeconomics, from standard 11th as well as 12th.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.
