Remarks

SRCC is the best college in DU and pf India as well. I took admission on a merit basis but there are various quotas available as well for students. It's truly a dream college for many students and being able to take admission in such a prestigious college is an honour. The entire process of registration was online through the DU portal since I took admission in 2020. SRCC has one of the best infrastructures among all the other DU colleges. The teachers are really helpful and professional, they are a little bit strict too in case of attendance. The college offers a wide variety of societies, clubs and cells for the overall development of students. Overall it is the best college!!

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I opted for Bcom Hons because I had commerce in my 10+2, and I always had an interest in this field. The faculty is really amazing, the way of teaching differs from one teacher to another, though everything is online buts it's easy to grasp and learn if one attends the classes. There are around 80+ teachers for 2000+ students, currently, I have around 45 students in my class. Exams are held twice a year ( including internals and externals). The internals held by the college teachers is quite easy to pass if one has attended all the classes.

Placement Experience

5

From the second year itself, students start preparing for placements. The highest package to date has been 32lacs and the average package ranges from 6-9 lacs. Very big and famous companies come for placement and almost 99.9% of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is not too much being a DU college and the best college, SRCC provides scholarships to students in different arena's. The placement cell provides various opportunities to the students for the internship both paid as well as unpaid. There are certain benefits for the reserved category students as well.

Campus Life

5

The annual fest conducted by the SRCC is called 'Crossroads". The college has a variety of societies, clubs as well as a cell which boost the personality development of students. One also has the facility to play various sports. The college has everything to provide.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
