Remarks

Best college for this course. Course is very expansive, faculty is great, hence Gokhale is the perfect fit for my financial future. Gokhale has students coming in from all walks of life, hence helps us to grow not just in classrooms but also outside them.

As mentioned, academics are very inclusive, ie ; it includes all important aspects which a financial economist should know: including micro and macro economics, accountancy, law, math, behavioural finance:

Placements and job opportunities are great but due to covid this year placements were all haywire. Else there are great companies coming to Gokhale

College Events

There are so so so many extracurriculars in college. TT being the most famous one. We also have dance, Ted X, college fest. We celebrate every festival including holi, Diwali, lodhi; dahi haandi, etc

The infrastructure is great. We have a college building, a mess and various hostel buildings. Looking forward to be at campus and enjoy the infrastructure.The girl hostel has a 3 sharing room facility, enough space for 3 students.

Hostel is great, the girls hostel is 3 sharing, but the rooms are big enough for the 3 students to stay together. Each student gets one bed, one study desk and one almirah to themselves hence having enough space for each student.

D.E.S Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College is a premium law college!

Placement Experience:

Plans after getting the degree is to build a career in corporate law. Many corporate firms like Bajaj Capital, Bajaj Auto and others come to recruit students. Placements still I feel are less compared to SLS Pune as we are compared to that and here we lose badly.

Placement Experience:

The campus does give a good number of internship and placement opportunities, definitely there's always scope for improvement. A lot of students also end up applying outside the college to get a headstart on the placement season.

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

The Best College Campus

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.

Reality of my college life

The admission was through an entrace exam,I don't know about the cutt off,I got in the 1st list itself. The eligibility was you secure more than 60% in 12th standard.The details about this exam is found in their website called GIPE.There are certain amount of seats reserved for different categories,but tuition is same cross the line.The entrace examination is conducted once a year,it is a medium range exam and the course exams are really tough.I wish the admission was online and more detailed information could me provided....Read More
