Remarks

I took admission to this college through management quota in offline mode. There are no such specific criteria for admission in this branch. Students who gave WBJEE Entrance exam can avail this program through counseling. The admission process for both through counseling and management quota is pretty simple.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this branch because it is a very reputed branch of this college. Faculty: The student ratio is 1:15. The faculties of this branch are caring and encouraging. All faculties are M.Tech and Ph.D. qualified. Term exams are held from time to time as announced by MAKAUT.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

Students from Fourth Year i.e. Seventh Semester are eligible for placements. Companies such as Infosys, HCL, TCS, Accenture, etc. Offers made in the previous year were 18/19. The highest offer was made by Jaro of 12 lacs .75% of students were placed. After completing B.Tech, I want to join a job in a Tech company.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike policy of this college. The cost to study is very reasonable to students. There are various scholarships for domicile students. And also for students according to caste categories and maintaining 8.5 cgpa .

Campus Life

Tech fests are held by reputed companies and organizations which are very important sessions for students. Books and journals are always available in the library. Classrooms are well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Interdepartmental Football championships occur every year.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech
