Decent college with good placements.

I had given the WBJEE exam and after the results out in the first round, I applied for Calcutta institute of technology, wherein in the 1st round I didn't clear it. but in the 2nd round, I luckily got a chance in this college. Students who will give WBJEE Entrance can avail of this program through counselling if they minimal required to rank. Others can also take through Management quota by contacting through college staff.

I chose the CSE Branch because I had a soft corner for programming. Moreover, I love the course and it also has future benefits for my upcoming career. The faculty members for this course are very good at their field. Faculties are M.Tech and PhD qualified. Faculty: Student Ratio is 1:15 . Term exams are held timely as dates announced byMAKAUT. Difficulty is moderate.

Students who are in last year of college i.e in Fourth Year are eligible for placements. Companies such as Infosys, Deloitte, HCL, TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, etc. Offers made previous year 18/19. The highest package amde by Jaro of 12 lacs. 75% students of previous year were placed. I want to get a job in tech company like Cognizant , after completing B.Tech.

There is no fee hike policy of this college. The semester fees for the students is very much appropriate. This fees doesn't burden the student and doesn't prohibite from further studies.The fees per semester is 37500 whereas in any other colleges the sem fees is above 60000. The college also provide financial services to many students which is very much appreciable.

The college has a great library which consists of different types of book for the different courses. Apart from course books there are many book for various aspects. Moreover the college hosts different types of fests and seminars from different companies and associate universities. There are many college groups that are associated with many fields and all the students are very much interested in every aspect. Classrooms are very much comfortable. Interdepartmental Football Championship occur every year.
