Remarks
Daulat Ram College is one of the top notch colleges of DU, north campus. The admission process is entirely merit based and doesn't involve any entrance, interview round etc. The cut off for the general category is averagely between 95-97% of the best four subjects in board examination. The seats are not on a first come first serve basis anyone who clears the cutoff is good to go! The fee is 16-17k/year. The faculty is top notch while placements are also very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is extremely good. Some of the professors carry an experience of as high as 30-35 years. Most of the professors hold a doctorate. A lot of them are DU graduates themselves. Exams are very well structured. The difficulty level is moderate. Processes are very student-friendly.
Internships Opportunities
Every year internship fest is organized in Feb. A lot of companies visit the campus and offer paid as well as unpaid internships in a lot of domains including marketing, content writing, operations etc.
Placement Experience
Several renowned companies come for placement and internship opportunities. Most of them are for accounting and auditing positions. As much as 60-70% of the students get placed. The average package is somewhere around 6 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is low as compared to other institutions. It is 16-17k per year. The fee is submitted at the beginning of every academic year. It includes all the lab charges, examination fee, everything. Nothing else is charged the entire year. Fee can be easily submitted through bank transfer. It's a hassle free process. Scholarships are provided to the underprivileged based on several criteria. Moreover, cash awards are given to those who excel in academics.
Campus Life
DRC is known for its academics as well as its extracurricular activities. There are several societies and clubs including dance and music societies, drama society, fashion society, finance and investment cell, entreprenship cell, placement cell etc.
