Remarks

The admission process was very simple and easy to understand. I was quite worried about my admission process because I had no friend with me. There were many students who were assigned to help and everyone was polite and helpful. The orientation was quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

One academic year had two semesters of about 4-5 months each. And before the main examination, we used to have internal assessments of 25 marks which were very helpful as it made us prepared. In total, we used to have 5 units in each subject and in internal exams we were assisted on 3 units. This was beneficial as it covered more than half of our main final exam portion and also the paper was set in the same format as the MU examination format. The questions were asked from the previous examination papers which was also a good factor as it made us understand what type of questions can be asked in the main paper. We also had internal practicals before the main practical examination session. The supervisor for internal practical were our own teachers but they were very strict during supervision just like the way am external examiner was.

Internships Opportunities

3

I have personally worked as an intern in curaksha but other companies are Wipro, tatvic analytics Pvt. The roles offered in these companies are team responsibilities, technical responsibilities, work as an SQL trainee, design and develop queries. The very first task was given to see the teamwork so one was made the head of the group and others working under him had to report the leader. The tasks given to others were to find someone else's task. But when the task was given to the student it was said that this is a secret task and no one else can know about it. So it played how the team member manages to convince the other member to reveal his task. This was also allotted for a particular time so it also enhanced the time management skills of a person and how efficiently one could do their appointed job.

Placement Experience

4

From second year students are eligible for campus placements. They are allowed to give interviews for the same. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, tatvic analytics Pvt and so on. The highest paid is 3L per month according to the job description. The average is 15000pm. The percentage for getting the placement is above 50% and should not have any KTs pending. My plan after getting the bachelor degree is to do masters in IT and then apply for the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

During our academic year itself, we had many sessions on how to give interviews and what kind of interview questions will be asked for all possible field in the IT department. During the last year of our college, we were allowed to work as interns in small companies like curaksha and also we had a great opportunity to give interviews for jobs in big companies like Infosys to a name few.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest of KC College is KIRAN. The IT team had an organisation called SYSTEMATIC CHAOS in this huge fest. This took place in August every year. The library was huge with all different types of books available. Not only did we have novels, science and fiction but also all the curriculum books which were very expensive if we had to buy. The classroom was spacious but desks were old fashioned and occupied more space. Once a year, sports day was held on the ground and anyone could participate in any activity they liked. Other than that we also had cricket tournaments (inter college and intra college), football matches, basketball, dance, singing, poem, literature and art competition were held and dramas were played by other batch mates. As we've passed out college during this pandemic one of my classmates has started a page on Instagram for the yearbook and also there's an official KC website as kccollege.edu.in

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.

Being part of MIT ADT University there are some disadvantages of not being a regular student. We always need to be in our best behaviour, need to be always dressed in uniform in college function and a high penalty of suspension is followed if presented differently.
