Course Curriculum Overview

3

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for general category was 6000rs. It was same for all other plain or regular BSc courses including physics, chemistry ,mathematics, electronics, microbiology botany and environmental science. As an OBC candidate I had to pay fees of OBC 2100. Some of my friends received shahu Maharaj scholarship of higher sum. I had received scholarship of rs 2000 every year and further the remaining sum must be paid in the form of dues at end of each sem while taking the last year result. Student need to pass to get the scholarship for every year. The fees for taking journals and exam fee was different. On average 100 rupees for each journal and around rs 1000 for exam form

Campus Life

4

The college has NCC and NSS programs running throughout the year with timely camps and year round activities on different occasions like independence and republic Day Gandhi jayanti Earth environment ozone day etc. Some social programs and rallies I also taken by them. In month of August to November annual functions (YEN)do take place. From December to Feb Bollywood and traditional wearing days are celebrated. The library mostly includes books for specific department based on syllabus and curriculum of subjects within the departments. There are certain a labs and classrooms with projector. VLC hall for special programs another hall within the college and also the college owned auditorium for large programs and functions. Starting from August selection of various level of sports competition with some games further. A college level competition within all departments mostly cricket. Every year elections for college youth leaders are taken which are responsible for sum of the year round activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

The rooms accommodated 3 candidates each having three separate cots and tables. 3 tube lights for each one fan and only one board though we used extensions on our own. Breakfast was good and included poha sabudana idli vada uttapa dosa and milk throughout week. Lunch mostly included chole harbara mung masur rajma etc. Dinner was sometime unliked, though special treat monthly like pav bhaji and Shiv bhaji where present. For registration a form must be taken from the hostel fild up details and signed by warden and submitted with a DD of fees attached to it. During my first year the fees where 60500 rs and Rose to 70500 for 1st year with 10000 rupees deposit included in the first year only. On average 500 to 1000 rupees extra expense incurred monthly.

Admission

Compare to other colleges at least for regular BSc this college is slightly higher reputed at present now. Other colleges like the KK wagh is engineering College while others don't have hostel facilities. The city is also more affordable but still standard compared to other education hub like Pune. Hence for regular BSc course even if anyone got delayed admission can be taken first in any other course in the college and then within the department by cancelling the first chosen course. That was the case what happened with me. Minimum 50% marks in HSC is the only basic eligibility.

Faculty

4

The faculty student ratio was on average to 1:15 to 1:20. All faculties where nearly approachable in terms of doubt solving and other enquiry. Some young faculties and also the head of department there some of the most like faculties by all students. Each paper (return and practical paper were different) gods of 50 marks with 35 marks of external semester exam and 15 marks from internal assessments and internal exams. The difficulty level was moderate sometimes lightly difficult. Around 10 to 20% students failed to clear in any of internal or external. The course curriculum was much relevant taking into consideration of its scopes an application.

Night Life

4

The hostel itself provides views of river and outside nature mostly from top floors where I was living. There are two ground one sports ground and the one campus ground in front of main building having a green gym. Another gym is present but with restricted time The library area another improvements were return before 2025 NAAC survey. A Canteen is present within the campus with other options around nearby the campus. The hostel timing was 8:30 pm mosty during my period which necessary exceptional needs. The most famous hangout places are Panchavati area with various Temple shrines ,the city mall and cinema theatre. Other places within 30 km include the backwaters ,Brahmagiri ,Anjaneri etc. Though not much safety issue faced by me but problems existed both within the hostel for maintaining discipline within the hostel premise proper CCTV arrangements etc. Frequent fighting, clashes and robbery have been and not taken very seriously even do the police in front of campus.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot. Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been thoroughly impressed with the course curriculum for its relevance and comprehensive approach to both theory and practice. One major aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course was its emphasis on practical application and real-world problem solving. The curriculum integrates current industry trends and case studies, which immediately appealed to me because it offers not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable hands-on experiences. The structure of the curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. For instance, the course modules are designed to build a strong foundational understanding while progressively introducing complex topics. This approach ensures that students are capable of tackling challenging scenarios in professional settings and are well-prepared for advanced research or academic opportunities. The practical assignments, group projects, and internships provide direct exposure to industry practices and enable us to apply what we learn in a realistic context. Despite these strengths, there is always room for improvement. The course curriculum could further benefit from increased interactive teaching methods, such as more frequent workshops and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Incorporating regular seminars by industry experts would also add practical insights. Additionally, the frequency and timing of exams sometimes feel overwhelming. Although the exam difficulty level is fair and encourages a deep understanding of the material, scheduling them away from major project deadlines could alleviate some unnecessary stress. Overall, I find the curriculum to be robust and well-rounded. With a few adjustments in teaching methods and assessment schedules, it has the potential to become even more effective in preparing students for both professional challenges and advanced academic endeavors. In summary, the course curriculum excels in providing a balanced educational.

The first few hours of the computer science course are very difficult. You have to understand everything. It is beneficial if you solve the programs in it repeatedly. When a teacher explains something clearly, it will be easier for the student to understand, and it will be easier if the exam is taken at least 4 times a year.
