Remarks

The university released its application form after 1 or 2 months of the board examination for class 12th. Applicants had to fill that form and then wait for CBSE to announce the results so that Delhi University could release its merit list. If your percentage of class 12th falls into the merit of any particular college, you're eligible to get admitted. After selecting your college, you just have to select the college chosen on the portal you have created on the official site. Then within 2-3 days from this, you have to visit the college and fill an offline form there alongwith the submission of some documents. At last, one has to pay the fees of that course in which you have enrolled through the website only. So, the admission process was quite easy since most of the things were online. And the offline process too turned out to be comfortable since the teachers there were quite helpful. The counseling day was fun since we get to know more about our college and its various societies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose the course since I had a deep interest in the subject right from my school days and I thought I could have a career in this one. So enrolled for this course. We have a learned and dedicated faculty complemented with professional and motivated laboratory staff. The University conducts its exam times in the months of Nov-Dec and May-June. Even during the pandemic, the University didn't fail to continue its legacy.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college cell organizes an Annual Internship Fair wherein recruiters from every domain and sector such as The Indian Express, Child Rights and You, The Centre for Applied Politics, Humanity Welfare Council, Bajaj Capital are some of the companies that visit to offer internships to the young interns filled with zest.

Placement Experience

3.5

One can start applying for placements in his/her 5th semester or 6th semester of the college. Big 4, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting group are some of the esteemed companies show participation. The cell received the highest salary package of 20.5 LPA offered by DC Shaw and the average package of the last batch went up to 5.7 LPA. I have to start preparing for my civil services examination after the completion of my undergraduate degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college is kept minimal so it could be affordable to everyone. Also, it's doesn't hike much to cause any disturbance or inconvenience. I got selected under the INSPIRE Scholarship scheme in 2019.

Campus Life

4.5

Confluence is the annual cultural fest conducted by Hansraj College usually in the month of March or at the end of February. The library at Hansraj College is well-stocked and well furnished. It comprises four sections: The main library, individual department library, the Periodicals and the Text Book Sections so there is a rich collection of books from all fields. Alongwith with maintaining good ranks in academics, the college is well known for its active participation in ECAs. Dramsoc, Debsoc, Music society, dance societies are some of them. Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
