Remarks
Since I took admission during the covid time (2020 year) so our entire process from filling the admission form to counseling happened online through forms and google meet. When we received our result after a month DU list for colleges came out. I got admission to the 6th list in DRC for the Bcom Hons course. The 6th list came out in November end and I received a mail for DRC College in December mid when the classes had already started, eventually, I missed the few classes and the starting counseling process too!
Course Curriculum Overview
Okay so since I joined late, I had missed few classes, and starting 2-3 chapters were already completed by the teachers. Similarly, many students around 10-12 had also joined late i.e in the 5th or 6th list. So teachers told us to cover those chapters by ourselves and in case of doubt consult them. Otherwise, the faculty is really good and professional and always ready to help and assist, though it's difficult to learn and grasp through online mode they try their best. We are around 50 students in a class and there are 4 sections for Bcom Hons in the 2020 batch. The internals conducted was quite easy and simple as well.
Placement Experience
The college placement cell conducts webinars covering each and everything for 2nd years to make them prepared for placement in 3rd year. I have heard that the college provides good placement and at very good companies too since it's a north campus college. It's been 5 years since Placement Cell kick-started.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for Bcom Hons are around 17000 per year which is quite affordable and comparatively very inexpensive. DRC also provides scholarships and other financial assistance to the deserving students, they circulate a form to be filled by such students. I have heard that our college provides good placements with average packages ranging from 2-8 LPA.
Campus Life
Though I have not been on campus physically our college conducted a seminar where they showed a video of our campus which seems quite large and full of greenery. DRC has a lot of active societies and it's easy to be a part of them. Besides societies, there are various workshops and webinars conducted by the college staff as well as students. There is a facility for sports at the college too!
