Lady Shri Ram College For Women , Delhi University

I didn't apply for any other college earlier as I set my mind to take admission at Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University. No, as I am from the general category so haven't applied for any quota but the criteria for admission were totally based on cutoffs. We are required to register and submit our documents of 10th as well as 12th standard along with identity proof and registration fees at Delhi university portal and once we satisfy the criteria for cutoff then we can do our submissions at our selected college portal and after their approval course selection and submission of fees is the last step of this procedure.

B.Sc. Mathematics has a vast scope in the field of banking, research, and specialization in particular subjects is always an option to choose for further graduation. The faculty-student ratio is very good and supportive as all teachers are cooperative and mainly focus on the analysis of the topic rather than theory. All professors have completed their Ph.D. and have amazing teaching methods as they explain topics using graphs and theorems which clear the mindset and gave rise to many perceptions which make the class very interactive. We have to give exams once at the end of 6 months semester. They were quite difficult to pass and score good marks but consistency could make it possible.

We need to submit fees once at the beginning of the year(2 semesters) because now everything is happening in online mode. Inspire Scholarship is given to some students after clarifying certain criteria of the procedure. Due to online mode laptops were also been given to those students who are in extreme need of step financial assistance. Many job opportunities with good stipends are given to students of third years.

Delhi University is famous for its amazing and interactive fests as it includes many students from other colleges which enhances its glam and functioning. Tarang is mainly conducted in November and Noor is conducted as a departmental fest of LSR. Books and journals on various topics are easily available in the library. Since we are taking classes in online mode but as heard from our seniors class amenities are extremely good at Lady Shri Ram College. Physical education is an option for students who are interested in extracurricular activities also they can join the NSO club of our college which mainly focuses on sports and yoga activities of graduates and actively conduct health events. There are innumerable societies to join at this college and each society is active and famous for events, competitions they conduct.
