You apply online through their official website. Then they prepare a merit list. On a particular date, you come to the college and choose your preferred subject. For Physics, Marks counted are of PCM+P For Chemistry, PCM+C, etc. Then you pay the admission fees to book your seats.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a well-known college in Jorhat, Assam. People prefer Jorhat for educational purposes. In Assam, Jorhat is pretty good for continuing your future education. The surroundings of the college is quite green, calm. NCC is there as a full-fledged department. There is a library, Auditorium, Indoor sports stadium. Located at the heart of the city, you can find accommodations quite easily.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite simple and nominal. Every semester, you pay at most 2 fees, one is the admission and the other of Examination. The odd semesters (1st, 3rd, and 5th) fees charges are a bit high than the even. Campus Life

There is an annual program every year where the sports take place. Singers and performers are invited. In sports, cricket, kho-kho, Kabadi, Football, etc. are included to name a few. Special competitions like Rangoli, Crafting, Cartooning, Speech, chess, debate are also conducted. These are just in the annual program but there are many other occasions, you can find myriad numbers of program been conducted on some famous personalities birthday or other memorial days.

Placement Experience:

For Masters students they must be from 2nd year of his course. For Engineering students they can be hired from any year any semester. Name of Companies visited are OIL, ONGC,NRL, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant etc. The highest package offered in this year 2024-2025 is 25 Lacs. And the average package is about 10Lacs Percentage doesnot really matters but they should not have any backlog. After completing my degree I will get into my research field.

A Dream - JAGANNATH BAROOAH UNIVERSITY.

Yes, I actually applied in Tezpur university in Bachelor's in English as it's one of my biggest dream to study in it. But my application got rejected , actually not rejected, when we had completed our 12th , there are as lot's of competition among students and the Mark's they obtain was much. So in Tezpur university the cutoff mark was approximately 93. As a result of which I've unable to get the admission. In our university, the admission process is simple.
