Remarks

Okay, so I got 96.75% (best four) in class 12th. I took admission. in SGTB Khalsa college in 1st cut off in BCom hons. And then I got admission. In DRC in 3rd cutoff and took admission. In this college. After that, I got Venky and Ramjas too, but I decided to stay in this college only because the reviews I heard about this college were fantastic and now that I'm actually studying I can easily and proudly say that it was my best decision. It's in North Campus, the environment here is according and most suitable for students. I belong to General Category and took adm. In this college without any quota. About the adm. criteria it is totally merit-based and a very easy process. For bcom hons course Maths is compulsory in class 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I want to do MBA in the future and found this course the most suitable one. Talking about the faculty, I am the CR of my class and have talked to many teachers. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are confused, they will try to solve every single query. Most teachers have completed their PHD and are very much qualified. There wasn't much test. Mostly assignments that too one or two. And tests were also very easy.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As I am the CR of my class every message is circulated through me. Internships offers are circulated after every 2-3 days. In 1st year they are not paid., but from the second year you get paid internships too. Internships include like- Digitak Marketing Content Writing Marketing HR Graphic designing Company ambassador And many more. These are of maximum 2-3 months and work from home. These can really help you improve your CV and upgrade your skills.

Placement Experience

4

Internships are offered in all 3 yrs. And placement is basically done in 3rd year. And let me tell you the companies that come for placement are quite good like Deloitte, Chegg, Wipro. Total 48 students were placed (bcom prog. And bcom Hons), I dont know about the no. of students who applied. I want to do MBA after my degree and have no plan for a job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is: 16890/year. It is a 3-year course. Because of COVID'19, our classes were online. So I don't have any idea about the cost of living. I have not taken any scholarship or financial assistance.

Campus Life

5

Out fest name is COMVISION. This is it was conducted online in the month of March and April. (31st March and 1st April). You can find more about it on insta page (@commercia.drc) and also on Facebook. There are many societies literally you name one and it will be there in this college. I am a part of Commercial(digital team), Debonair(fashion society), and Zenith( dance society). And I m literally impressed by all of them. There are many more like placement cell, finance and investment society, drama, photography, and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects like Law, Management, HRM and Economics really influence my choice for this course. The law and economics part was really something that garb my attention as well as excite me the most. It really helped in understanding HR policies in depth which helped me really world a lot. The curriculum should include more practical and technical subjects which will help in the corporate world too. The exam timings were usually 2 to 3 hours max. And the exam also doesn't come too hard to pass.

So I am pursuing Bcom honours as i am doing CA also along with it that is why I chose this course because it aligns well with my CA syllybus. See academics is very important but it is not the only thing which will help you build your career, along with it you should also try to gain real world exposure by participating in Case comps, debates, or being active in society, etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of Janki Devi Memorial College is quiet relevant and covers the important areas of the subject in a structured way one of the reasons I preferred this course was it is designed according to Delhi University standards and the syllabus is recognise and useful for higher studies the combination of theory papers skill enhancement courses and internal assessment help in building clear understanding of the subject. The curriculum helps in writing resources and critical thinking skills which are useful not only in exams but also for future academic and professional work at the same time, I feel that adding move practical sessions, workshop, or more project based learning with me the course more engaging and closed to Real world applications. Exams are held in the form of internal assessment during semester and final University exam at the end.Exams schedule is manageable and the difficult level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course ciriculum for bcom is good and covers major aspects like accounts, business law, management, ethics. It help understand the basic concepts and useful for future studies Ciriculum is relevant but somtimes it feel more theory based rather than a practical aprroach. More practical exposure and skill based subjects can be added There might be some needed improvement in teaching as we learn account's and management it feels boring teacher can make it interesting if theu improve their methods Exam happens every 4 month after the end semester the timing of exam is good my 1st sem happened at the December whole month the difficult was not much high my account paper was difficult as it was more tricky but the difficult was managable
