1.I applied for handique girls college and Assam agriculture university for bsc chemistry and bsc agriculture respectively. But I wanted to study engineering that's why I did not attend those colleges. 2.No, I didn't avail any quota . 3. 60% minimum marks in HSLC and 23 years old minimum . Must provide recent JEE or CEE score. 4. I got admission through my CEE score in BTech petroleum Engineering without any quota .

I choose petroleum engineering because I liked the subject chemistry and also wanted to do engineering. The faculty-student ratio is 8:45. The qualification of the faculties in DUET were all PhD holders. All the faculties are really supportive and their teaching skills are really good. End term, as well as mid term exams, were conducted by the DUET.

The fee structure for the course is 4lakhs. The various companies come for campus placement like ONGC, OIL, NEEPCO etc. The highest package for campus placement is of 25lakhs. The internships were also provided by DUET.

Along with varsity week, DUET organizes AUXESIS, an annual fest in the month of January and September respectively. Various competitions were organised as well as cultural events. There are various journals as well as syllabus books are available in th library. All kinds of facilities are available. All kinds of indoor and outdoor games were organized by DUET. And also different cultural competitions were organised as well. There is an NSS group run by the students in Dibrugarh University.

All th rooms are double seated having two different beds, tables, chairs, and a wardrobe for both separately. The food is really healthy and is served 4 times a day. I applied for a hostel during the admission procedure and was allotted a hostel.
