Remarks

Sliet central library is the heart of sliet, almost all branches available. As admission last date that time when I join is in April & our classes start from July. I prefer this college as it is central. govt college with all facilities like in sports too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty nature is so nice their technical method is good timely exams schedule is already given at the starting. According to give yearly calender they do their activities students get a change to enhance their skills in every field like singing, dancing, sports one special Student activities center also their so in free time students can utilise theri time, one central library & one student study cener also.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

From prefinal, year students can sit for placements, companies come like Infosys, TCS, welspun. 30-40% students get placed in these companies & the package is almost 3.5 lpa to 7-8 lpa. Companies take their own exams & interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is less compared to other colleges every year a little bit fee hike but it's normal to every college. Students got scholarships based on merit, theri caste based & also the NSP scholarship also. Their is different scholarship department for helping students.

Yes, only entrance test is their which is relatable what we studied previously like the basic maths, science, English the test was okay result comes within 15 days after that classes start from July. I prepared for these exam only doing self study till 10 th class as I take admission in diploma after 10th.

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding and math were the subject that influenced me to take this course we are introduced to python and c / c ++ which are the major languages used in the society for AI/ML. I don't like any curriculum in our college one day they kept mid and sem exams on same day to be frank my 1st completed in just 8 months I joined in Jan in August end it was completed my first year actually it should be completed in 1 year .

From 6th semester a student is eligible for the placements, companies like TAFE, CLASS, Mahindra and Mahindra and many others come for campus placements. The average package is of 5-6 lacs and the highest package, according to me was gone for john deere company at the price of 15 lacs per annum. The students have 80-90% chances of getting placements. I personally want to pursue my higher studies and work on my future preneurs.

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
