Remarks
I chose Amity University mainly because of its wonderful infrastructure and also I wanted to study away from home. I applied from the college portal and i paid an amount of thousand rupees for the application fee. The admission procedure is based on merit with an average class 12 marks of 55% minimum. It is also followed by a personal interview and only then my seat was confirmed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to study BBA because in a city like kolkata, it has a lot of opportunities in sales, banking, finance and HR management. The class was all based on PPT which gave us zero burden in carrying books. For further references there is a college library where the books are present. Our faculty were very friendly and helpful. We used to hang out with some of the professors after college as well. Speaking of exams, it consisted of internal semester and external as well. We used to have weekly tests which was usually vivas or MCQ .
Placement Experience
The college has a placement cell. They look out for tentative recruiters, after which the recruiters revert and then give out job openings. Top recruiters are TCS, infosys, amazon, tech mahindra and also finance and banking companies like PWC, HDFC bank and Bandhan bank.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is to paid on the basis of semester just like every other college. The total cost to study my course was 2 lakh, eighty five thousand. I would say it was reasonable looking at the facilities that were provided to us and not to forget the whole campus is air conditioned.
Campus Life
It felt like i am in a different world every time i went to college. The whole campus was air conditioned. I used to skateboard in college and also used to go to play basketball. It was very enjoyable. The college also hosts an annual college fest, and it also has cash prizes awarded to the winning college in overall events.
