Remarks
I had applied to other colleges like MIT, SIT, SSIT, CIT, AIT etc. I got a seat in Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology from the CET quota. CET is Karnataka's entrance test for engineering and many other courses which is done after the 12th.
Course Curriculum Overview
To get more knowledge about coding. Faculty are well educated and the faculty-student ratio is about 3:60. Teaching is done through many ways like presentation, seminars, webinars, and outside persons come in to give more knowledge about the course.
Internships Opportunities
Few companies offer internships to college student. The project is very much interesting as I have seen from my seniors they have very much eligibility to create their own project and not buying from the outside. Most of them have gone to competition and represented our college.
Placement Experience
From 7-semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are more companies like Wipro, Tata, Infosys and many more. More than 40-50 companies visit the college. The highest offered package is 4 LPA. 80% of students getting placed. I have planned to do MBA after my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 65k for CET that is for the seat that I have availed in the entrance test and college fees for CET students is less as compared to management. We CET students pay 12k for 1st year and 10k for the next 3 years. There are many scholarships available ie. state govt. And Central govt student scholarship.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest is "SHRI UTHSAV" it is conducted in the month of April. Availability of books are more but as these days students prefer to read on their own smartphones there is a less new version of books. The classrooms are very huge and well ventilated. We have more cricket players in the college so there is little more active for cricket other than that there is football, volleyball etc. We get only a chance to play after college hours. NSS is a social group who all are compulsory should participate.
