Entrance Preview

I took Panjab university entrance examination for bachelor of law(3year). And my score was pretty well to crack the entrance. I decision of choosing law was because of my passion towards judiciary.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is very good because of law faculty. Its pretty good.research work is very great because of the participation of teachers in it. Faculty is so helpful. The value of course is very high because of reputation of Panjab university.

Internships Opportunities

I have no idea about internship which is provided college. But the experience with the faculty and overall experience is very nice. The infrastructure is very good.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunity is very nice. The value of degree is very valuable because of the reputation of panjab university. Many multi national companies come to the campus for placing students im their companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I've never heard of any scholarship and loan facility offered by our college that I know. But students can ask for scholarships from panjab university campus from enquiry department.

Campus Life

The campus life of Panjab university is very amazing. The ratio of population is 60-40 percent 60percent pf girl population is in university. The labs are in great condition equipped with great instruments.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is very structure is very strict. The work load on student is reasonable.

Faculty

My course is very good because of law faculty. Research work is very great because of the participation of teachers in it.

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the courses is very well created, although the difficulty level is more. The curriculum also needs major upgradations with time including AI tools, proper use of technology with E-books in classrooms, proper usage of online teaching aid and study material. Softwares for plagiarism check and research resources are much needed. Also there's evolution coming in skill development courses with increasing seminars and guest lectures.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not as good as compared to other universities. It provides low package like 35000 per month . Median salary is 2.2 lakhs . Placements also depend on the CV of the students and marks he/they got in the university exams. In law particularly , lesser number of student pursue placement in Panjab University. The average package offered is 3 - 4 lac per annum . Some of the companies that frequently visit are Ernst & young , Infosys , wipro , vodaphone , Adobe etc .
