Remarks
VIT'S fee structure is according to the marks scored in the entrance exam and it doesn't provide all the facilities which KIIT University provides with fewer fees than VIT and both the universities are almost the same in every field. That's why I opted for KIIT.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical Engineering was my second preference. Faculty to student ratio less than 2:20 as per 20 students we get 2 mentors. Almost every faculty is a PhD. Per 4 months we have semesters and it's not very difficult to pass semester exams, just attend lectures and be attentive you will pass with more than good marks.
Internships Opportunities
High Radius is on the campus only and you get an internship opportunity in that and you also get PPO if you do well in the internship. And there are many internship opportunities provided by the college. I'm not sure about the stipend.
Placement Experience
From starting of the 4th semester you're eligible for the campus placement. Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, HP, Bosch, Mahindra and Mahindra, TCS and many more. Almost 80% to 90% got placement who opted for placement. Some people go for higher studies so they don't opt for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no fee hike policy but consider 2019 batch per year institutional fees was 350000. I'm in my 3rd-year placement has not started yet but can say almost everyone will get placed according to their skills and KIIT is filled with different opportunities you just have to grab that.
Campus Life
Annual fest and tech fest both are held in February but it's not certain. You will get books every semester, before or just starting off the semester. We get 24*7 working library in every branch and also there is a central library for every student. There are multiple societies in the college and KIIT has provided a separate campus (KSAC) for sports and societies.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very good there is multiple options for an opting hostel-like 2 bed 3-bed ac non-ac. Mess food quality is not that great. Bt you get veg and non-veg both and every weekend you get biryani both veg and non-veg (Worth eating).
Other Applied Colleges
VIT | Computer Science
I wasn't getting the branch what I wanted and for all the courses fee structure is not same
