Remarks

I applied for one of the best and most recognized colleges in India, HANSRAJ COLLEGE. I didn't get any specific quota but remembering the procedure they provided me some relaxation as I was from another backward class OBE. I opted for BSC. ZOOLOGY HONS and the criteria for that course was the candidate must have passed class 12th in science PCB with a minimum 50% aggregate. The admission process at my time was completely online because coronavirus first was at its peak at that time. I filled the application form and soon the cut-off list was release, eligible students filled the form for the respective college. After the verification of the submitted documents, I paid my fees for the course online only and confirmed my seat in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are numerous career opportunities for students who go for zoology especially the ones who love aminal and the wild. They find job opportunities as an Animal behaviorist, wildlife biologist, zoo curator, etc. Talking about faulty the college have very good faulty having deepest knowledge of the subject plus cooperative and supportive at the same time. All the faculty are masters or Ph.D. degree holders in their respective subjects. Their teaching method is impressive as all of them deal with making things clear to students by practical aspect. Moving on to the exams at my time were of obe and they were really on the point means the exam paper was made in such a way that it would test the understanding of the students with the way they present and serve it on the answer sheet.

Internships Opportunities

3

sorry, I don't have much idea of this but yeah, being one of the best college Hansraj do offer internship for sure. Many famous companies come every year in order to get the golden students for their company like Facebook, amazon, tata are some top and most famous companies which always had been there in the campus of Hansraj for the students and giving them an internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 4th-semester students become eligible for the campus placements. An average of around 60% of students got placed from the courses b.com Hons. The highest salary package offered in the course was 18 LPA and was provided by Amazon India in the year 2016. my plans after getting my degree are to get my master's degree and to opt for Ph.D. if possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is quite high as compared to the other college but still the faulty and campus balance the same very well. It had cost approx 60k for the three-year course of BSC. ZOO. They provide many opportunities in terms of scholarship, each one targeting different sets of students and courses. Financial assistance includes providing books to help given as cash in order to motivate many hidden talents. Merit and need-based scholarship are given. The student welfare committee holds interviews for the same. The college also has the facility to give fee concession from 50% to 100% baes on the annual income etc. There are other scholarships as well like NCERT and FAEA to name some. Also, a student who is differently abled gets a fee waiver.

Campus Life

4.5

There are number of fest being organized by students that has made remarkable contribution in expanding the horizons of students and in renewing and building uo their interest . There are various socities that work and organise talks and seminars which serve to help students to get about various new things. There is a library which is housed at the centre of the college. The library have a rich collection of 1,35,000 titles and about 98 periodials published in india and abroad. The library has huge study space as well. Now talking about the sports, both outdoor and indoor games are there on campus. it has a huge sports ground. The sports ground has a shooting range and badminton court in it too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
