Remarks

I always wanted to get admitted to Delhi University no matter what college so for that I gave two entrance exam one for Cluster Innovation centre and another for Indraprastha college for women for course Bachelor of multimedia and mass communication (Hons), After cut off were out I took admission in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee college in Philosophy(Hons) thinking that it would be good to secure a seat for now and after some time I could change that, as I don't have good marks I could not dream of good college but after out of the extra list for entrance exams I cleared both my entrance exams, but IPCW because it was dream course and comes under top 15 colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose BMMMC(Hons) because it is the best course that IPCW provides and even the best in Delhi with a proper Hons degree. Faculty and students share a great bond in our dept, faculties have very good qualification and maximum have already completed and some are pursuing their doctorate. their teaching method is very good and all are friendly in nature. Even without going to college, I am loving them already. From the point of an exam of view, OBE does not suit me, I am not too comfortable with it.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are many internship opportunities which our college give us like, aashma foundation, Wizaru learning Pvt. Ltd, Buskills Education, The HelpMate and many more. I got the opportunity to ChilderenWise NGO as event and activity manager and it was a great experience. But I think our placement can increase opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

Does not know much about college placements but placement cell ensures the need for an internship and provide a good internship opportunity, after completing my graduation I will prefer to do a masters's for better job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are the costliest amongst whole courses which university offers as it privately financed course by the college. There are many scholarships also and financial assistance is also given by the college we can pay our in two instalments but for getting approved proper documents need to be submitted.

Campus Life

3.5

As our batch till now has only got virtual experience of our campus, so because of that cannot comment much. But societies of the college are very good and provide a lot of experience. University has kept in mind the need for a library and also given access to an online library even once a week we are provided with virtual sports class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate
