Once A KIITIAN , Always a KIITIAN ??

The quality of education is very high.One of the most important aspects of KIIT is the level of education imparted from highly skilled facilities from IITs and NIITs. The relevance can be seen from the example that kiit was the first college to start with online education and completing the semester by taking online examination.The admision process is quite simple. There is no registration fees which is a major boost for all familes specially in this pandemic situation .Reason for preferring this college is the wide reputation of Kiit all over India, its beautiful Campus , amazing college life , 100 percent ragging free campus and much more . And being in this college for 2 yrs now , i can give a surety that it has much more to offer than what i have mentioned.There are articles all over places giving the reviews about kiit and they are all true eg being college dunia.Campusdunia etc etc .One bad aspects of college i would like to mention ( they give too much assignments lol )

I am in CSCE branch and it is one of the sub branches of CSE. The education is same in both only with a specialization in communication engineering is with the CE thing. Cse is the most sought course these days and one of my personal favourite which was the main reason for selecting this course. The faculty to students ratio is very good. Every 60 to 70 students are assigned a student mentor for any queries and also for any academic doubts. All the teachers are either from IITs or NIITs which can be seen from the official kiit website. Kiit is very timely about the examination .Even in pandemic we are on schedule and regarding the difficult level , the college makes sure that no concept are left untouched The teaching method in offline method was through white board and now in online method zoom and google meet are used with each subject divided credits wise across the entire weak to avoid extra load to the students and so that students get time for development of personal skills ..

Yes the college provides wide range of internship opportunities in various domains from full stack to much more Even at the time of placements many companies offer internship cum ppo which is very good The college also makes sure that every students has some skills before sitting for placements High radius - ML, IT, FULL STACK, ANALIST, CONSULTING and much more Similar domains are also provided by the kiit robotic club and different department also

From 6th semester end onwards students generally become eligible for placement mostly being internship cum ppo offers The internship can start from 1st yr also if you are skilled enough so thats no issue Some companies that visit here are TCS, Accenture , amazon etc etc cant write here all but you can see it on the college website , all companies are mentioned there. Highest package goes to 27 to 28 lpa and avg package ranges around 3.5 to 4 lakhs Lpa. Although 100 percent placement thing is no more in kiit but the TNP department of kiit makes sure that no student is left unplaced. Even in this pandemic kiit managed to get about 95 % + placement and had a record. My plans after getting the Btech degree is to either opt in a software or IT job or pursue for higher education, like mba or something similar by either clearing gate or cat.

The fees structure is bit costly in kiit due to all the benefits it has to offer. The campus is well maintained and teachers are of high qualification which in turn increases the cost of education . A normal btech has tution fees of around 176000 per semester (CSe and its sub branches) .The college also provides scholarship over tution fees to the top 1000 students in the KIITEE examinations held at the time of enterance.The kiit also has the facility to grant loans in case of difficult during admissions which is a great thing from the college authorities. Regarding the job offered in the kiit , the TNP department of kiit makes sure all the well renowned companies come during the time of placements. Although the 100 percent placement thing is discarded now but TNP dept of kiit makes sure that the placement percentage is more than 95percent always .With an avg salary of 3 to 4 lakhs pa and highest salary ranging to 25 to 26 LPA. So you can crack good companies here for sure.

There is annual kiit fest every December to January. Which is the most sought fest for entire kiit university. During the course of the year there are many societies which keep on conducting events for the students from time to time so you can say , every month there are two to three events for sure minimum. Kiit has an entire library building which is newly built and its no less than a hotel itself. The books range from a wide variety there and its just amazing experience to be there. For in online mode , kiit makes sure we get our course books home delivered for no extra cost. Classroom are of top class and are air conditioned with projectors in every room. Its just top of its class. There are so many groups / societies in kiit that you can be part of. For the first year you would be confused as to be part of which societies. There are more societies than your skill level. so you can develop your skills here with ease and also learn to manage societies as well.

I had opted for a 2 bed Ac premium which had an attached bathroom and it was top of its class with room maintanence every day. It is worth every penny The college mess is average (it depends on each persons taste) but the quality of food is very good.You can have no complaints from that. And the menu is dynamic with respect to the seasons so you can be sure you are getting seasonal vegetable and food here. You are severe non veg 3 to 4 times a week which is very good Registration process for hostel is very simple You just have to sign a confirmation slip and you can pay for it then and there or anytime later.So its very easy and hassle free. Yes the hostels are very costly in kiit. I opted a hostel and did not rent a PG but my friends stayed there and they are much cheap but then you have to have many responsibilities there. And yes have to miss the hostel life. Dont miss it. !! ...
