Remarks

I am currently pursuing Chemical Engineering, as in Kolkata there are no other colleges or University which are providing such a good opportunity for students to grab knowledge in a very easy way. Yes, I think so that my curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field of management and it makes me feel confident. Anything Else: My opinion is that the best college that someone can take admission into.

Course Curriculum Overview

My Couse costs Rs 37500 per sem. It is totally worth it. As they provide me scholarship worth 15000 per annum which makes me more worth it. Satisfaction is there. Though our class is taken on online I can say Teaching is very good.

Placement Experience

The Placement cell at MAKAUT University is very helpful. They are trying their best for students to brings as many companies as possible. The highest package was 30 lakh which was hired by Microsoft and the students were from the Engineering field. The average salary is about 3-5 Lakh per annum. It is a very easy process and comforting.

Campus Life: Best Campus Life. The best feature is they organize events every month which doesn't make a student feel he/she came only here for studies.

No, I did not face any group discussion interview or written Test for Admission. After getting my WBJEE rank I simply Choose this college and I had selected after that I came and simply submitted my documents.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
