Remarks

I love this college because of a clear green environment. The study focused college, faculties are great mostly our chemical department faculties. So I would recommend everyone to join this college near Howrah. The total cost of 4 years is 2,80000 including scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are extremely good of the chemical department, I would say teachers are really good and they are mostly friendly behavior by which students love to study and most probably you will enjoy your college life in a vibrant green place.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 70000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is good but a little bit of your effort needed to get a good placement and college faculty will help you for placement and prepare ur self first within 3.5 years so that you can get a good job. If you dont study dont expected good, hard work needed for better placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are competitively less than other b.tech colleges 4 years course fee is 2.8L including a scholarship of 40k. You can get scholarships if have a good score and maks in the class 12 exam and you can get loan facilities from college to study with minimum interest charges.

Campus Life

The campus is a really good green environment good for oxygen and better thinking power for students and love ta campus. Books will be provided by the college before every sem starts . The classroom is modern and great with CCTV etc and anti-ragging campus.

Interview Experience

There is group discussion with teachers, the interview will be taken by college faculty and will check students behaviour and intelligence and no written test will be taken and admission will be done quickly 3_4 days.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
