My review for Shri Shikshayatan College

The reputation of this college is well known in the city. It is affiliated with Calcutta university. The location of the college is in a very good area. The faculty of the college is great and it has an amazing placement cell. The admission process was simple, only have to fill out the registration form. From which most of the eligible students are selected. The documents which are given by the student has to be verified by the college. There are usually 3 merit lists which come out depending on the seats available. The fees of the college is very reasonable. I chose this college as I was aware of the well known faculty. I read blogs from Collegedunia which had great reviews about this college. My relative was also from this college.

I chose BBA because personally I think management is an essential component in any field of life. It teaches the concepts and principles about how a corporate firm functions, the challenges that come along with it and how to overcome these challenges with the potentials instilled upon yourself. The BBA department of Shri Shikshayatan college has an amazing faculty staff. The teachers use their own different and unique methods and principles to teach us which is very efficient. The syllabus is well divided so that all of it can be covered properly. The semester exams last almost a month, each paper being of three hours except the MCQ paper which is for two hours.

The placements cells are very efficient as more than eighty percent students get placed. Companies like Wipro, Deloitte and other companies visit the college every year. The average package offered is two to three lakhs, and the highest has been five lakhs.

The fees of the college is reasonable and affordable . The whole year fee for the first year is around fifty six thousand rupees. It has various facilities available which makes it worth the price of the fees.

There are various fests which are conducted and organized by shri shikshayatan college. There are also different fests organized by the different departments like the management fest. Most books are available in the college library which helps us for our projects and assignments. There is a basketball court, and a swimming pool. There is a Leadership Training Society which helps the students to boost their confidence and enhance their communication skills and trains them to be a leader.
