Remarks

The best thing about college is its RAGGING FREE campus. On my first day in college, i met many friendly seniors and they were helpful during registration and all. College is having balance of technical and cultural activities.

Yes. I was provided with full semester scholarship. SC/ST/OBC students will get monthly stipend also.

Placement Experience

For our batch it went pretty well. Many civil students were placed in software and core civil jobs. Companies opted many of the girls candidates for core jobs to our surprise.Around 40% students were placed in our passed out year.

College Events

There are many cultural, technical and management fests organised in our college. Dhyuthi, techfest, Nirmaan and Moto show are some of them. College is conducting ISTE Technical events for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Government fee of Rs.6000 per semester for general category is pretty feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students with lesser family annual income there is scholarship which provides full fee exemption.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is almost 50:50 for all departments except mechanical engineering. Sports competitions are held annually.

Hostel Facilities

I was a day scholar. As far as i know about hostels it is having average facilities.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni network is working continuously to improve infrastructure and facilities of college.

Exam Structure

Exams are as per schedule provided by University of Calicut. Most of the time exams were conducted on time and results were out as per exam schedule. Labs were adequate to meet our learning needs.

Faculty

All faculty members are having M Tech/Ph.D in relevant subjects and they are friendly towards students.

An honest college review

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placements. The top recruiters in it sectors are Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, Wipro, UST GLOBAL, IBM. The top recruiters in other sectors are Mu Sigma, Ernst and young,, federal Bank, h and r block. Most of the placement are in it and related sectors. The average package is 4 to 6 lpa.The highest package is 34 lpa in Amazon. In 2024, 35 percent of students got placed. I will look to get campus placement in a reasonable package or I will try to get jobs by other means.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. They provide placement packages from a minmum of 4lpa to 12 lpa.. But most of the students got 4 lpa packages, it is very difficult to crack higger packages, but most of the cs students got placement andd students of other departments palcement is not good.

My College days

Remarks:

I loved my department. But some of the management decisions made bad impacts on students and they hate the college. Faculties were good. As I already said 4 to 5 professors were so good in teaching and rest of them makes the learning experience a nightmare.
