Remarks

NMIMS already has a huge name in the arena of colleges. On virtue of being one among another expensive private college, many people will have this idea that it consists of only fancy/ high-class students. But this idea is wrong, students get selected on the basis of merit and are provided with rich quality faculty, resources, and job offers. The admission process is quite simple: (for ENGINEERING) >Appear for NPAT exam. >Follow the process mentioned after clearing the exam in the result section. >You will be called for a Counselling session based on your merit and offered various stream and campuses accordingly. >Choose according to your preference and availability. NMIMS has a history of providing bleeding edge of fantastic education, research focus, and top-tier faculty. Other than all this, It has it own charm.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA TECH in CS is an integrated course that provides both the degrees in the span of 5 years. Along with this, the cost is for the degrees combined is approximately 15 lakhs. The teaching method is made efficient with the help of smart learning and excellent faculty. Exams are conducted in form of mid-term twice before the semester final exam.

Placement Experience

Our most senior batch will be going 5th year, which is the last year(Navi Mumbai Campus). They have been provided with various good internships that I'm aware of. Most students are choosing internships based on their interests and talent. We also have a great exchange program, where numerous foreign universities are tied up with our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

As mentioned before: Approx. 15L for both the degrees combined is an awesome deal. Scholarships are given based on the merit of students and various internships/job offer too. Companies from various MNCs, to startups all are included during the Placement sessions. NMIMS also gives us the opportunity of becoming an entrepreneur.

Campus Life

There are in total 3 fest in our campus, Annual Sport fest: Prabalya, Annual Tech fest: Ignite and Annual Cultural fest: Tavran. As all three genres of fest are covered, we have blessed fun and exciting fests throughout the year. Along with a rigorous curriculum we get a relaxing and enjoyable fest. We also have various clubs and committees that aid in academics as well to increase the co-circular activities. For example: Techcider, Infinix, Manthan., etc.

Placement Experience:

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.

Life at NMIMS navi mumbai

i had applied to various colleges apart from nmims and also got into a few of them like NIIIT rajasthan , wating list for symbiosis pune , few colleges in delhi university like motilal nehru college, ramjas etc. the reason for not selecting those colleges were that the reputation of nmims for their bba course supercedes all these others yes i got rejected from some colleges like iim indore , iim ranchi and christ university where i got rejected post interview and i could not make it to the personal interview stage for the iims to get into nmims , there is an entrance called npat and for few courses like bba and bcom there is mandatory requirement of maths as a subject in your 12th class and there no other entrances for this institute. the cutoff various for each branch of nmims varies like for nmims navi mumbai its somehwhere between 1000-3500 and i had gotten 1100 finally the admission process is quite easy and you are given 2 attempts max for npat and the admissioning is all merit based and no GD or PI...Read More
