Remarks

There is not anything bad about this college, the professors are very knowledgeable and friendly. The college has a very big campus area. I got into this college through WVJEEE counselling. There is no specific reason why I choose this college. I used collegedunia while selecting this college

Course Curriculum Overview

Professors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Every professor has done MTech and a few of them have completed Ph.D. Every 3 months we have to give an internal exam, and those exams are quite difficult to pass.

Course Fees: INR 35500 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students can appear for campus placements. I don't know well about the highest or average package offered to the student but I know students get placed right after the completion of their 8th semester, as my many seniors got the placement right after the completion of their 8th semester. After completing my BTech I am focusing on GATE & ESE exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships but the process is quite hard and the acceptance is also quite modrate. The semester fee is pretty much low compared to other colleges, I have to pay 35500 as my semester fee.

Campus Life

Our college usually doesn't organize any cultural or technical fest, but every year our college organizes annual sports for students and faculty members. At the starting of every semester, the college provides books for the entire semester. Book bank and main library are well maintained you find almost any book or journal.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
