Remarks
To be very precise the first thing I like about NSUT, which was NSIT, a part of Delhi University at that time when I got admitted in it, is the campus structure and the greener shades in this college which makes it a serene campus to spend your time. The classrooms are very good including the smart classrooms and proper maintenance to talk about. To talk about the new student blocks and centers that have been made on the campus gives a very good feeling when you enter into them and makes us feel more confident. Talking about the admission process, it was quite cool and smooth, and at my time it was around the 3rd or 4th of July in 2017. I had other options too for admissions like DTU and all but I chose this college over others as first it was affiliated to Delhi University which is a renowned university, and I loved the campus and its parks. Secondly, as I was told that NSIT was and is very active in the research domain. Bad aspect about this college are the labs that are not very good
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as Industrial and factory automation is on a boom and I knew that it has a very bright future. Qualification of the faculty is pretty good but the faculty is not on the friendly and helping side. Teaching methods are good with all the video illustrations and all. The exams were timely and they were easy, as the faculty taught and everything in the class, but there is much delay in the result declaration part.
Internships Opportunities
Very few companies came for the internship opportunities for the non-tech roles but were pretty good on the technical and software part. Even the Training and placement committee does not help students in this domain.
Placement Experience
From the start of the final year, the students get eligible for campus placements. Due to the current situation, this time lesser companies visited the college for placements on the non-tech side and for our branch but on the technical side, it was pretty good. The highest package on the non-tech part is by Landmark group for 30LPA and for the technical part it's around 51LPA. After getting the degree I would love to continue working with Collegedunia
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy is okay and the cost of the study is around, (6,50,000) Lakhs for four years. There is a student scholarship of around Rs. 40,000 for each year for the top five department rankers. The job I got on campus is in Collegedunia in my final year as a management trainee
Campus Life
Social life is pretty good at the campus and there is an annual feast which is Moksha. The library is pretty nice with well-connected Wifi and all. There are many active societies in the college to get involved in on both technical and non-technical sides.
