Remarks

Our college is totally fine with good aspects. There are many types of admission process like entrance and merit basis, direct admission etc. I prefer this college because this college is nearby my house.

I choose this course because this is my favourite stream and I have passed my diploma course in this stream. The Faculty: Student ratio is 15:1. Our faculty members are well educated and too good for teaching

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offered internship which is for data science internship (6 months), Idiosys technology offered an internship. Underscore technology and Papri Technology also offered an internship to our 4th-year students.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited our college like TCS, IBM, Infosys, AMAZON etc. The highest package as per the company is 12 Lac from JARO. After getting the Degree I will show a hard work woman.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees structure is -29500/- per semester, 59000/- per year. I have got my scholarship from WBSVMCM. I got 60000/- from govt. Our college teachers helped me with this scholarship and always supported me.

Our college library system is totally fine. Here any types of books are available for students. The study material is available in this library. Any types of study books are collected from the library.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. A few companies which visit the college are TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, IBM, COGNIZANT, HUL, HCL, INDIAN OIL, MITSUBSHI, NJ INDIA, D-POWER,ETC. all the companies offer placement. highest on-campus package = inr 33 lakh where as the average is around 6lpa. After the degree, I plan to get a good placement in a core company and opt for GATE.
